| My name is Rick Van Eman and I started this project studio in 2001. I mostly record acoustic/electric Americana/Country/roots type music. In Jan '06 the T9c went thru a major transformation. I re-oriented the control room to improve space and sound -check out the Pics section. I added lots of sound absorption (mostly bass traps) to improve the mixes. I used acoustic cotton wrapped in burlap or muslin and hung batts of this stuff in the corners of the room and added 703 stiff fiberglass sound absorbing insulation. I added some new gear that is just awesome and known for great sound quality. Check out the Gearlist page for specs. In August '09 I further updated the studio to include a large 2nd tracking room with hardwood floor and bass traps. It's large enough for drums and/or a full band. In addition I added an 8 ch. preamp by Presonus. I have completed 5 CD projects for clients including Grady Lee, Steve Ribnikar & Beaver Tree. I have also done a 2 song demo for More Cowbell.
