Howdy Ya'll!

My name is Rick and I started this project studio in 2001. I mostly record acoustic Americana type music for fun and non profit. If you take a look at my gearlist, you'll find world class gear is used at the T9c. My mic collection has been steadily growing since '01 and it won't be slowing down anytime soon. I plan to add at least 4 mics per year to the arsenal.

In Jan '06 the T9c went thru a major transformation. I re-oriented the control room to improve space and sound -check out the pics section. I added lots of sound absorption (mostly bass) to improve my mixes. I used acoustic cotton wrapped in burlap and hung batts of this stuff in the corners of the room and added 4 panels of 4" 703 stiff fiberglass sound absorbing insulation. I added some new gear that is just awesome and known for their sound quality. Check out the gearlist page for specs.

I have completed 4 CD projects for friends. Check the downloads for some reference tunes. I play guitar, keys, fiddle, mandolin and bass. I also sing a little.
